Meet Michael Barrett

About Michael Barrett...

An ardent supporter of the free enterprise system, he believes in the pursuit of excellence for the sake of its achievement.

Raised in Berkeley, California - and a teenager in the 60's - he learned a great deal about cultural diversity through direct experience.

Michael Barrett, real estate investor, real-estate-investing-tips.com He has a deep appreciation for freedom, Asian culture, good cuisine and music. He is an avid fan of real martial arts with a long time love of the internal arts and continues to practice today for health and longevity. A Charlie Musclewhite, Itzhak Perlman, Turk Murphy, Bruce Lee and Cheuk Fung fan rolled in to one.

Michael received his preliminary education in private schools, the bay area junior colleges and then graduated from Golden Gate University in 1978 with a BS Degree in Marketing and Business Administration.

He loves dogs and children and is a father and grandfather.

He has 28+ years of business experience in a variety of industries including:

  • Founder and operating partner for a carbide tooling service and manufacturing company supplying the woodworking industry for 6 years
  • 5 years in the specialty coffee industry
  • 7.5 years in the foodservice industry in retail and as foodservice broker
  • Real estate investor and internet marketer
